MacOS X11 Forwarding 

 요즘 서버 환경에서 많이들 코딩이나 작업을 한다. 파린이로서 VScode를 많이 사용하는데 matplot 라이브러리를 활용해 plotting을 하던 도중 Can't Not Display 오류를 만났다. 내가 사용하는 서버와 내 네트워크 간 plotting을 연결해줄 Window가 없었던 것이 였다. (** 주피터 노트북은 따로 window 연결 없이 plotting 지원)

 

Solution ) 

 

1) MacOS 전용 xquartz 설치 (https://www.xquartz.org/)

 

XQuartz

or 

  

brew 사용 (https://formulae.brew.sh/cask/xquartz)

 brew install --cask xquartz

 

 

 

2) .ssh/config ForwardX11 yes 추가

 

Host ailab
  HostName ***.***.***.***
  User LAB
  Port 8888
  IdentityFile /Users/Name/.ssh/id_rsa
  ForwardX11 yes # Forward Setting
